The helmet features an in-mould construction complemented by MIPS brain protection.
Adequate ventilation is ensured by 18 ventilation vents. The Roc Loc® Sport fit system allows precise adjustment to the shape of the head so the helmet fits perfectly.
Practical details such as a removable visor, reflective elements, quick-drying padding, and an insect mesh increase comfort and safety on every ride.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
