The Ibis Exie is a carbon cross-country full-suspension bike, handcrafted in Vietnam.
This is the first full-suspension carbon fiber bike that the designers at Ibis have developed and manufactured entirely by themselves. This frame is the result of a seven-year project that was demanding. Exie is the lightest bike ever offered by Ibis Cycles.
Exie is more than a kilogram lighter than the Ripley, without sacrificing pedaling efficiency or functionality in an effort to reduce weight.
This XC 29er offers 100 mm of rear travel thanks to the Fox DPS Float Factory shock and 120 mm with the Fox 34 Factory fork. Exie is a lightweight racing XC full that is very fast on flat sections and climbs while also handling challenging terrain.
With a rear construction length of 435 mm, the Exie is more maneuverable, and thanks to the modified rear linkage kinematics, the ride has a much more progressive suspension character.
The frame uses a classic BSA bottom bracket and can be fitted with a chainring with up to 36 teeth. It is a given that two bottles can be placed in the frame.
