When the trail drops into a steep descent and the roots are wet, you want confidence in every lean. Maxxis Assegai MaxxTerra/EXO/TR 29x2,60 holds its line calmly and predictably, even when you’re riding on the limit.
The aggressive tread pattern delivers predictable grip across the entire profile, so the bike stays stable when leaned over and under braking.
The MaxxTerra compound combines traction with sensible durability for mixed conditions, from hardpack to looser dirt.
EXO sidewall protection helps reduce the risk of cuts and abrasion on rocks, without making the tire feel unnecessarily stiff.
TR tubeless-ready construction supports riding at lower pressure for better control, while also reducing the risk of pinch flats.
The tire size is 29x2,60 inches for modern trail and enduro bikes.
The ETRTO size is 66-622 for an accurate fit on a compatible rim.
The casing features a 60 TPI fabric density for a balanced mix of compliance and durability.
The recommended pressure is 40 PSI, depending on intended use and rim type.
Maxxis Assegai in 29x2,60 is an MTB tire you’ll appreciate when you need predictable handling in technical terrain. It’s well suited for trail, enduro, and downhill riding, where cornering confidence is key.
Thanks to the combination of MaxxTerra, EXO, and TR, you get a tire that handles mixed conditions and still delivers grip under harder braking. The Kevlar bead also makes transport and installation easier.
