When the trail breaks into a steep descent and the ground comes alive under your wheels, you want confidence when leaning the bike over and under braking. Maxxis Minion DHF MaxxTerra/Exo+/TR 29x2,60 gives the front wheel composure and predictability, even when the surface changes fast.
The Minion DHF tread balances sensible rolling resistance with strong braking grip and confident cornering. That means you can commit to your line with more peace of mind on the way in.
The MaxxTerra compound is tuned for mixed conditions, so it holds on dirt, rocks, and roots without that “rubbery” drag. On the trail it feels predictable and easy to read.
EXO+ protection reinforces the sidewalls and helps reduce damage from sharp rocks and abrasion. The added bead reinforcement also lowers the risk of pinch flats and helps protect the rim.
The TR version is ready for tubeless use, making it easier to run lower pressure for better traction. This tire is intended mainly for the front wheel for trail, enduro, and downhill riding.
The tire size is 29x2,60 inches for modern trail and enduro bikes.
The ETRTO size is 66-622 for a precise fit on the rim.
The casing has a 60 TPI construction to balance compliance and durability.
The tire weight is 1,231 grams, and the recommended pressure is 40 PSI.
Maxxis Minion DHF in the MaxxTerra/EXO+/TR version is a front MTB tire for riders who want both grip and durability in real-world terrain. The 2,60-inch width adds support when leaned over and better contact on rough ground.
Tubeless readiness and a Kevlar folding bead make it a practical choice for long rides as well as tougher enduro days. In black, it matches most bikes without drawing unnecessary attention.
