Tire construction technology with a protective layer from bead to bead and a rubber insert for aggressive off-road riding. The tire construction is designed specifically for riding style in tough terrains—with multiple reinforcements built directly into the carcass to enhance overall casing durability, as well as allow for greater support at lower pressures. With a nylon protective layer from bead to bead integral to the casing and a thick rubber insert over the bead, the HardWALL construction is destined to handle merciless use with ease and protect against punctures. Incorporating these reinforcing elements along with a 60 TPI nylon casing contributes to a solid and durable construction, supporting reliability and ride quality without compromising weight and power transmission efficiency.

SmartGRIP Gravity

Tire compound for DH and rugged Enduro riding was developed in collaboration with the world’s top downhill riders. This compound excels with a softer mixture, tear resistance, enhanced grip under all conditions, high stability, and control at high speeds.

The result is longer-lasting tire performance, with excellent grip. The tire maintains these riding qualities even as the tread wears. The single compound formulation of SmartGRIP Gravity provides consistent riding performance throughout the tire's wear. The greater mechanical durability of the rubber also offers higher resistance not only to wear but also to punctures.
