Ever since Danny MacAskill's first ride on the Heckler e-bike, he just can't stop talking about riding e-bikes.
This is partly why we've taken the Heckler further, higher, and faster. The Santa Cruz Heckler in the SL version is equipped with the unique Fazua Ride 60 motor with a power of 60 Nm and a discreet integrated battery with a capacity of 430 Wh. We use the same proprietary processes for our "C Carbon" frames as we do for our highest spec frames to retain the same legendary strength and stiffness that our CC frames are known for, but there is a slight weight penalty. We've achieved this by using a different grade of carbon material that results in minimal weight gain.

Since 2001, we've been using Virtual Pivot Point or VPP™ suspension design to bring you the best balance between pedaling efficiency and all-round shock absorption, all in an extremely strong and reliable design.
In a nutshell, VPP™ uses two parts that rotate in opposite directions to create a "virtual" pivot point, or instant center, that moves along the entire suspension path and determines the trajectory of rear wheel center movement.
