The new generation of the Anthem Advanced 29 model with a super-light full-carbon frame is an XC special bike ready to excel in even the toughest world cup races.
The bike is therefore equipped with Flexpoint Pro rear suspension and modern geometry. Now you can truly enjoy challenging paths or fast descents.
Extraordinary Efficiency - The super-light Advanced Composite carbon frame is designed for maximum efficiency and perfect handling. It proves its quality in fast descents, technical sections, and steep climbs. It has high stiffness at a low weight and provides excellent riding characteristics for racing and performance cycling.
Excellent Handling - The new FlexPoint Pro rear suspension is specifically designed for XC riding and racing, providing a smooth and active 100 mm travel. Technically, it is a so-called leveraged single-pivot, which is a widespread and proven rear suspension solution. The fork travel has been adequately increased to 110 mm, and in addition, the fork is more tilted (the head angle is 67.5°) – both together offer greater control over the bike in fast and broken descents.
Perfect Stability - The new frame has a longer horizontal distance from the bike's center to the center of the top of the head tube, and the "cockpit" has been adjusted with wider handlebars (760 mm) of a modern 35 mm diameter. These improvements further enhance the bike's stability in demanding XC terrain and at high speeds.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
The rear suspension rocker arm is made from one piece of carbon composite. The essence is the multidirectional deposition of carbon fibers and the innovative manufacturing process of extremely high pressure shaping. The resulting product is lighter and at the same time stiffer and stronger than the same aluminum product.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
The FlexPoint Pro rear suspension with 100mm travel was designed for XC riding and racing and delivers high efficiency and responsive handling. It's a linkage-driven, single-pivot design which takes advantage of the flexibility of the rear triangle with no mechanical pivot and no lower link. It’s engineered with a full-composite swingarm that significantly reduces overall frame weight.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
