The Stance E+ introduces a host of new improvements. Its design and geometry have been completely revamped, providing greater travel. Additionally, it's equipped with a new second-generation SyncDrive Sport motor from Yamaha and powered by an integrated EnergyPak Smart battery.
The sporty design of the new ALUXX SL aluminum frame is significantly different from the previous generation. The most notable innovation is the more robust (stiffer) rear triangle with a 12x148 mm thru-axle. The FlexPoint suspension has been enhanced and now provides 125 mm of travel, which is 5 mm more than the previous version. The front travel has also been increased from 130 to 140 mm. Another improvement involves the cables and their internal routing, which have now been redirected under the handlebar stem into the head tube.
The SyncDrive Sport 2 motor from Yamaha delivers a high torque of 75 Nm and support up to 400%, all while maintaining compact dimensions. The bike integrates a EnergyPak Smart battery, located in the downtube, with a capacity of 500 Wh. The frame is also ready for the installation of an additional EnergyPak Plus battery with a capacity of 250 Wh, available as an optional accessory.
The RideControl Dash unit ensures easy control of the e-bike and clearly displays important information on a color screen. With the RideControl mobile app, you can also receive phone notifications and connect various compatible devices through ANT+ connectivity. Additionally, a USB-C connector is available for phone charging.
State-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.
A proven “single-pivot” design that uses the flexing action of the chainstay/seatstay junction to produce a lightweight and durable suspension system with 4.7 inches/120mm of rear travel. The FlexPoint reacts sensitively to large and small bumps through the air shock.
The compact SyncDrive Sport 2 motor features Smart Assist technology and is tuned for smooth and quiet performance. It's the ideal choice for riders looking for an all-round electric bike riding experience. The SyncDrive Sport delivers high performance even at low speeds. This motor also supports higher cadences and has a fast torque build-up, so it's a motor that can handle both brisk flat riding and more challenging terrain with steep climbs. Compared to the previous model , it has reduced weight by more than half a kilogram, but there has been an increase in maximum support and maximum torque.

TheSyncDrive Sport 2 is Giant's mid-range, all-purpose, electric bike motor line. It's ideal for trekking, mountain and full suspension e-bikes that can be ridden on any surface. Smart Assist technology calculates the amount of torque, cadence, grade and speed and uses these calculations to determine how much power to add to the motor. There's a narrower Q factor (168mm), which is the distance between your feet, for a better ride feel. The 20% reduction in weight and motor size goes hand in hand with an increase in torque, making the SyncDrive Sport 2 one of the best all-purpose motors on the market.
