Giant Trance X SX is a playful full-suspension trail bike in a mullet variant.
The bike is built on an aluminum frame with ALUXX SL technology and a carbon upper rocker with Advanced Forged Composite technology. The modern trail geometry ensures stability and agility on descents.
The frame is complemented by Maestro suspension, a Marzocchi Bomber Air shock with 145 mm travel, and a Fox 36 Float Rhythm fork with 160 mm travel. The option of 3 positions thanks to the Flip chip system for custom geometry. Another Flip chip is in the headset, allowing you to adjust the reach, that is, the length of the frame.
There is an integrated storage space for essentials in the down tube.
The bike is built as a mullet, meaning with a 29“ front wheel and a 27.5“ rear wheel.
State-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.
The rear suspension rocker arm is made from one piece of carbon composite. The essence is the multidirectional deposition of carbon fibers and the innovative manufacturing process of extremely high pressure shaping. The resulting product is lighter and at the same time stiffer and stronger than the same aluminum product.
The Flip Chip system allows you to quickly adjust the geometry of a Maestro suspension-equipped mountain bike to better suit your preferred terrain type or riding style. This is done by using the eccentric (offset, two-position ) inserts located in the upper rocker arm of the Maestro suspension, and by turning them, you change primarily the head and seat tube angles and bottom bracket height.

Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
