The Helios model is equipped with revolutionary Spherical technology (Powered by MIPS) in combination with the Aura reinforcing arch, which we developed in collaboration with brain protection experts. This innovative system is among the most advanced solutions for protection against rotational forces on the market.
The helmet's construction consists of two separate shells that function on a hinge principle. The outer part can smoothly rotate around the inner shell upon impact, significantly reducing the rotational forces acting on the head and brain. The inner part, which is in direct contact with the head, is additionally made of softer material for an even higher level of safety and comfort.
Optimal ventilation is ensured by 15 vents, which effectively dissipate heat even during intense performance. Precise and easy customized adjustment is made possible by the Roc Loc 5 Air retention system, ensuring the helmet fits perfectly and stays in place.
Comfort in wearing is emphasized by the pleasant interior pads with Ionic+ antimicrobial treatment, helping to maintain freshness even during longer rides.

Spherical technology uses two separate inserts to help manage impact forces. The material and density of the inner and outer liner can be optimized with progressive layering to help handle a wide range of impact forces. When you combine the benefits of progressive layering with the market-leading MIPS® Brain Protection System, which helps redirect rotational motion away from the brain, you get more comprehensive protection.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
