Modern Gravel Geometry
The specific women's gravel geometry of the Devote model is primarily based on a significant sloping, meaning the lowering of the top tube, and also a shorter rear section. The result is precise handling, agility, and perfect control over the bike in all situations, from standing climbs to fast descents on rough paths.
High Comfort
For increased comfort, there is the D-Fuse seatpost which flexes slightly under stress, as do the Contact XR D-Fuse handlebars. Additional comfort is provided by the very low positioned seat stays and wider tubeless tires.
An important innovation is the so-called flip chip rear dropouts, which allow you to change the wheelbase. A shorter wheelbase brings greater "agility" to the bike, while setting it to a longer wheelbase improves stability at higher speeds and also increases space for the rear tire (up to 53 mm). The new frame also allows for a choice of seatpost type (thanks to a special adapter), so you can use either the "flexing" Giant D-Fuse seatpost or a standard round 30.9 mm seatpost – thus the frame allows for the use of a telescopic seatpost as well.
