Ridley Grifn A GRX600 gravel bike Dark Violet Cameleon is an aluminum gravel and all-road bike designed for fast riding on tarmac and gravel. It builds on the Grifn model’s geometry and targets the mid-performance segment with an emphasis on versatility. Clearance for tires up to 38 mm supports use on light terrain as well as on longer rides.

Frame and geometry

The foundation is the Grifn A frame made from an aluminum alloy with a 12×142 mm rear thru-axle. The frame features multiple mounting points for racks and accessories and also supports fender mounts. Dynamo wiring is integrated inside the frame, which makes for a clean, straightforward light installation. The UDH hanger simplifies service and standardizes the interface for the rear derailleur.

Sizes are XS (51), S (54), M (57), L (60) and XL (63). Recommended rider heights: XS 158–168 cm, S 169–177 cm, M 178–185 cm, L 186–195 cm, XL 193–203 cm. The geometry follows an all-road concept, supporting stability with wider tires while maintaining an efficient position for longer efforts.

Components

Drivetrain: Shimano GRX600 shifting is in a 2×12 configuration and is complemented by Shimano GRX 800 derailleurs. The crankset has 46–30 chainrings and the Shimano 105 cassette offers an 11–36 range.

Brakes: The bike uses Shimano hydraulic disc brakes in a gravel-specific spec. Control is integrated into the Shimano GRX600 shift/brake levers.

Wheels and tires: The wheelset is Shimano RS171 DB for 700c. Vittoria Terreno Dry tires come in 700×38c.

Cockpit: 4ZA Stratos Gravel handlebars are supplied in widths of 420 and 480 mm. The Forza Stratos stem is 90 mm long, and the Forza Stratos seatpost has a diameter of 27.2 mm.

Ride characteristics

The aluminum frame with thru-axles supports precise tracking under braking and through fast corners. The 700×38c tires increase confidence on gravel and help filter vibrations on rough tarmac. The 46–30 gearing up front and 11–36 at the back provides a usable range for long climbs as well as brisk riding on the flats.
