The Bombtrack Tension 2 is a race-grade cyclocross bike, built on a 6061-T6 aluminum frame with a full carbon fork, equipped with a Sram Rival 1x11 groupset featuring hydraulic disc brakes.
As you progress up the Tension lineup, the Tension 2 arrives with the Sram Rival groupset, Hunt 4 Season wheels, and a Ritchey cockpit. The wheels, spinning effortlessly on high-quality industrial bearings, are fitted with excellent cyclocross tires, Challenge Grifo, offering tubeless capability. The frame features a T47 threaded bottom bracket to eliminate cracking issues.
The beauty of the rigid aluminum frame lies in its ability to climb swiftly and move forward easily when you lean into the handlebars during a sprint. The Tension 2 handles tight cyclocross course corners, steep descents, pedaling sections, and repeated short sprints perfectly, all without hesitation.
The bike is fully equipped with a Sram Rival 1 set with 1x11 gearing, featuring a front chainring with 40 profiled teeth and a rear cassette of 11-36. The brakes are also Sram Rival, hydraulic with 140 mm rotors.
