Pirelli P ZERO Race TLR road tire 30-622 Nero

Description

When you want to keep up the pace on the road while still feeling confident through corners, the right tire matters more than you might think. The Pirelli P ZERO™ Race TLR tire in the Nero version is built for fast training rides, spirited spins, and racing situations where mistakes aren’t forgiven. It feels lively yet composed, so you can focus on performance—not on grip.

Main benefits

Pirelli P ZERO™ Race TLR is a road tubeless-ready tire that combines low rolling resistance with reliable traction in both dry and wet conditions, so it holds its line even when the weather changes. Thanks to the SPEEDCore construction, you get increased puncture resistance without an unpleasantly “harsh” ride feel—something you’ll appreciate on long, fast efforts and rougher asphalt. The SmartEVO compound is designed to keep the tire predictable under braking and when leaned over, while still delivering solid mileage. And the Nero version with HIGH CONTRAST technology adds a clean, modern sidewall look that simply suits a road bike.

Technical specifications

The tire comes in 700x30, i.e., 30 mm wide for a 622 mm rim diameter (30-622), which is a practical choice for balancing speed and comfort. The 120 tpi casing helps it conform more smoothly to the road surface and contributes to a more supple ride at higher speeds. The Tubeless-Ready construction is designed for tubeless use, and the manufacturer recommends an internal rim width of 19C for a well-balanced tire profile. The weight of one tire is approximately 335 g in size 700x30, and for hookless rims this size is ETRTO-compatible, with a maximum inflation pressure of 5 bar (73 psi).

Conclusion

Pirelli P ZERO™ Race TLR 30-622 is a performance road tire for riders who want speed, predictable handling, and reliability for everyday training as well as racing. If you’re looking for a tubeless-ready option with thoughtfully engineered protection and premium Italian workmanship, this model makes a lot of sense.
