Near-Field Communication systém (NFC) is a short-range wireless communication technology. It is built into the helmet shell with a chip and used in the helmet to store medical documentation in the event of an accident. Thanks to The RECCO® Reflector you will be traceable for rescuers. It is a lightweight passive transponder that consists of a diode and an antenna. Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
