Rock Machine Blizzard 90-297 RZ mountain bike Silver/black SAMPLE is a full-suspension enduro MTB with an emphasis on stability in steep, rough sections. It sits in a higher performance category and targets riders who prioritize traction, control, and durability off-road. It’s built around 160 mm of travel and a mullet wheel setup to combine speed and agility.
The frame is made from Al-6061 T6 aluminum alloy with shaped tubes and internal cable routing. The rear end uses Floating Pivot Suspension and is designed for 160 mm of travel. Enduro Advanced Geometry focuses on downhill stability and confidence at higher speeds. The frame is dropper-post ready and uses the Boost 148×12 standard.
Drivetrain: Shimano Deore XT shifting comes in a 1×12 configuration with an XT Shadow Plus rear derailleur. The Shimano CS-M8100-12 cassette has a 10–51-tooth range, and Shimano XT cranks carry a 32-tooth chainring.
Brakes: Shimano XT BL-M8100/BR-M8120 hydraulic disc brakes use four-piston calipers. Shimano RT-MT800 rotors measure 203 mm front and rear.
Wheels and tires: WTB KOM i29 rims are laced to Shimano SLX hubs with the Center Lock system. The bike uses a mullet setup: 29×2.50 WTB Vigilante up front and 27.5×2.60 WTB Trail Boss in the rear.
Cockpit: Race Face Turbine R 35 handlebars are 800 mm wide with a 20 mm rise. The Race Face Turbine R Alloy stem is for a 35 mm clamp diameter, and the ONE1 dropper post has 170 mm of travel.
The combination of 160/160 mm travel and the DVO Jade X Coil shock supports traction in rocky sections. The mullet setup makes direction changes quicker in tight corners while still carrying speed over rough ground. Four-piston brakes with 203 mm rotors add extra margin on long descents. The 10–51 gear range helps you maintain cadence on climbs after demanding downhill sections.
The bike is intended for experienced riders who ride enduro tracks, natural descents, and technical trails with bigger hits. You’ll appreciate it where stability, grip, and consistent braking performance matter most. Compared to trail bikes with less travel, it offers more reserve in rough terrain.
