Ripstop jacket with Powertex membrane designed and tested in the Dolomites.
It is made from 57% recycled materials. The construction features a water-resistant finish, 2 zippered side pockets, taped seams, and water-resistant zips.
The jacket is designed to be as lightweight as possible. Weight 310 g roughly corresponds to the weight of 2 apples. It can easily be packed into a small bundle.
Breathability 10,000 g/m3/24h, water column 10,000 mm.
Composition: 100% polyester (57% recycled).

Durable Water Repellent (DWR) is a durable coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water repellent (hydrophobic). While the coating is effective, it also wears off and as such is recommended to be renewed/maintained with impregnating agents.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
