Superior GA 9.1 Matte Dust gravel bike is an adventure gravel bike built for long gravel routes, daily commuting, and bikepacking. Its spec targets the mid-performance segment, where a reliable drivetrain and confidence under load matter most. It’s based on a carbon frame and hydraulic disc brakes for versatile use on the road and off-road.
The PD-FB-65E frame made from Carbon Mid Modulus carbon composite is designed for stable handling on gravel and when riding with bags. It uses a BSA 68 bottom bracket and a 12x142 thru-axle, which simplifies service and increases rear-end stiffness. The UDH rear dropout standardizes derailleur mounting and helps for off-road use. Cable routing runs through the ACROS headset with integrated routing for a clean cockpit and a lower risk of snagging.
Drivetrain: Shimano CUES U6030 shifting comes in a 2x11 setup and uses the FD-U6030 front derailleur and RD-U6040 Shadow Design rear derailleur. The CS-RS400 11-36T cassette works with a Shimano bottom bracket with industrial bearings.
Brakes: Shimano CUES U6030 hydraulic disc brakes use Shimano SM-RT54 rotors. Rotor diameter is 160 mm front and rear.
Wheels and tires: STARS J25D wheelset is aluminum, tubeless-ready, and in 28" size. Shimano HB-RS470 and FH-RS470 hubs for thru-axles are paired with Schwalbe G-One Comp 45-622 tires.
Cockpit: ONE Alloy Allroad Swift handlebars feature 8° flare and 65 mm reach and 129 mm drop. A ONE Alloy 31.8 mm stem is complemented by a ONE Race 27.2 mm seatpost and a Selle Royal SRX 148 mm saddle.
The carbon frame with adventure geometry shifts the center of gravity for more confident line control on gravel and rough backroads. Wide 45-622 tires increase mechanical comfort and improve traction on loose surfaces. 12x100 and 12x142 thru-axles keep wheel tracking precise under braking and in fast descents. 46-32T gearing with an 11-36T cassette covers pace on asphalt as well as easier climbs with a load.
Superior GA 9.1 is intended for experienced riders who want one gravel bike for road, gravel, and multi-day trips. You’ll appreciate it when riding with bags, where stability and predictable handling are key.
