4Ever Esword Team M510 electronic mountain bike designed for demanding terrains.
The bike features the BAFANG Drive Unit M510, with a torque of 95 Nm, an easy-to-read display, and a PYTES I1+ battery with a capacity of 630 Wh.
The bike also comprises a RockShox Judy 29 Boost 15 fork with 100-mm travel, quick and precise Shimano Deore SL-M6100 12-speed shifting, and Shimano BR-M6100 brakes.
25 years ago they started as a group of cyclists who were not satisfied with the bikes brought to the Czech Republic from Asia, so they decided to start their own business. Enthusiasm and investment in technology have resulted in the fact that for over twenty-five years they have been producing bicycles, the quality of which it stands behind 100%. Today they have over fifty employees, they cooperate with the Cyklo Bulls cycling team and the New Zealand non-profit racing team 4EVER Racing NZ. They also participate in the largest domestic cycling fair For Bikes and Test Expo Vysočina every year.
The Bafang C245's minimalist display is colourful and clear in all weather conditions. The controls are ergonomic and easily accessible at the left grip. The display offers Bluetooth connectivity and you can also charge your phone through it - the output current is 0.5 A via USB Type-C.
The display also shows the current speed, the selected assistance, the remaining battery displayed as a percentage and more. You will often find it on mountain electric bikes.
Durable, reliable and cost-effective centre drive providing harmonious support especially for sportive riding. It is a more powerful motor than the Bafang M400 (420) and is thus often fitted to electric bikes with better equipment. It is a paper competition to Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano, Brose and the like. It is most often found in the price range of 50,000 to 65,000 CZK. Compared to the previous M500 model, there have been not only design changes, but mainly a weight reduction of 500g. This is thanks to the use of a magnesium housing.
Our view:
This higher model of Bafang is more powerful, more sophisticated and even more design-forward than the M400. The M510 is meant to be a competitor to the proven brands, and in mild to medium terrain it is, and in unpaved terrain you can tell the difference from the TOP engines. However, for most riders, it's a fully sufficient engine that has the advantage of a nice price point.
