The EXSTREAM TEAM 820 mountain e-bike is a proven model from the Czech brand 4EVER.
The lightweight aluminum frame is equipped with a fully integrated powerful battery with a capacity of 820 Wh. The bike features a top-of-the-line BROSE DRIVE UNIT S-MAG 90 Nm motor with a small, clear display.
These quality components ensure quiet and smooth operation with a real range of 90-130 km. The Brose center drive is arguably the quietest motor used in e-bikes. This is due to the fact that instead of wheel gears, a carbon belt is used for kinetic energy transfer. Its enormous torque of up to 90 Nm and very precise power delivery make it ideal for use in eMTB models.
Due to its small volume, the BROSE motor is almost invisibly integrated into the e-bike frame. Thanks to an innovative magnesium housing, it weighs just 2,900 grams and offers a maximum support of up to 410 percent, providing mountain bikers with a unique riding experience. Whether starting off, going uphill, on tricky trails, or when the drive is turned off after exceeding a speed of 25 km/h, the Brose Drive S Mag naturally supports the rider in every riding situation and responds well to an individual riding style thanks to its precise sensor system.
25 years ago they started as a group of cyclists who were not satisfied with the bikes brought to the Czech Republic from Asia, so they decided to start their own business. Enthusiasm and investment in technology have resulted in the fact that for over twenty-five years they have been producing bicycles, the quality of which it stands behind 100%. Today they have over fifty employees, they cooperate with the Cyklo Bulls cycling team and the New Zealand non-profit racing team 4EVER Racing NZ. They also participate in the largest domestic cycling fair For Bikes and Test Expo Vysočina every year.
FIT system consisting of different batteries and display variants that are compatible. With this system, the S Mag Brose motor is very powerful. With the BULLS bikes it offers ECO, Plus and Pro variants. The motors vary according to the amount of torque and can be adapted precisely thanks to this application. For sports riding, the particularly lightweight BROSE Drive S Mag motor offers support of up to 90 Nm thanks to its magnesium casing.
Our view:
Thehighest engine category from the German Brose carries the S-Mag designation. The Mag refers to the magnesium casing inside the engine, which allows for a more compact size. In power, the engine matches (and at top assist , beats) its competitors across the market. 3 assist with the highest mode delivering up to 410% assist really delivers at times brutal power for the toughest types of terrain.
Parameters:
Torque - 90 Nm
Weight - 2.9 kg
The Allround display from Brose is, as the name suggests, a controller and display in one. A colourful and easy to read display in all weather conditions. The advantage of this display is also its variability, it can be used on the left or right side.
On the display you can see the battery level, selected assistance, distance, range, time, etc. Bluetooth 5.0 is included and is used to connect to the diagnostics and the app.
The battery is among the most valuable components of an electric bike. It often accounts for up to one-third of the total price of the e-bike. Several factors affect the range of an electric bike: the type of terrain, tire profile, rider's weight, the level of assistance used, etc. You can read more about this in our blog.
The advantage of BMZ batteries is the very high-quality BMS (battery management system). The BMS uses temperature and voltage sensors to turn individual cells on and off, preventing significant reductions in range and ensuring the longest possible lifespan of the battery itself.
