The ATLAS 8 series is fast, delivers optimal comfort for long days in the saddle, and offers plenty of mounting points—something you’ll appreciate on your adventure trips. If you’re a fan of classic mechanical shifting, a double chainring, and the much-loved price-to-performance ratio—not only in Česká republika—you should definitely give this gravel bike a try. It comes in two color options and 5 sizes, so there’s truly something for everyone.
The designers reduced the weight of both frames and optimized their geometry to provide a nimbler riding performance. But that's not all: both gravel models can now handle a maximum system weight of 135 kg. They allow for the use of tires up to 48 mm (series 6) or 45 mm (series 8) and up to 53 mm (for both series) on the fork, and they also offer a large number of mounting points for bikepacking equipment. All versions now feature a clean cockpit thanks to the C.I.S. stem. One of the best features of the ATLAS model is that fitting it with fenders or racks is a breeze. The rack can be mounted on both series, and the new addition is a front rack, giving the bike that trendy look. It can be loaded with luggage up to 5 kg. It is not approved for use with the previous version of the ATLAS model. You can distinguish between the two models by checking if the seatpost clamp is integrated into the top tube (new ATLAS model) or not (old ATLAS model).
The carbon range of gravel bikes Atlas from the German Focus offers storage space in the down tube in the form of a Prep Pocket and a Prep Pack. The compartment in the down tube, which includes a tool bag, allows easy storage of essentials for your ride. You don't have to worry about damaging the cables during handling, as they are neatly and nicely organized in the internal channel routing.
C.I.S (Cockpit Integration Solution) is a specific wiring harness system for mechanical shifting, running on the handlebars through the stem and headset to the head tube. For optimal shifting and braking quality, there is a large bend to keep all cables running smoothly. Only this sufficient flex ensures that in the long run no shifting problems due to wear occur.
