The Giant Stance full-suspension bike in Almond is a trail mountain bike built for technical trails and all-day riding in the terrain. It sits in the mid-performance category and is based on an aluminum frame with FlexPoint suspension. It’s designed for riders who want modern geometry and a simple 1x10 drivetrain.
The ALUXX Aluminum frame is hydroformed and uses FlexPoint rear suspension with 130 mm of travel. The 12x148 mm rear axle and UDH interface support precise tracking and compatibility with current derailleur hangers. The OverDrive headset combines a 1 1/8" upper bearing and a 1 1/2" lower bearing for increased steering stiffness. Trail geometry features a 65° head tube angle and a 76.5–77° seat tube angle.
In size M, reach is 450 mm and stack is 624 mm, which points to a balanced position for both climbs and descents. A 442 mm chainstay length supports stability at speed. The bike is available in sizes S, M, L, and XL. The Almond color matches the frame’s brown shade.
Drivetrain: Shimano CUES SL-6000 shifting comes in a 1x10 configuration without a front derailleur. It uses a Shimano CS-LG300 11–48 cassette and a Shimano threaded bottom bracket.
Brakes: Tektro HD-M5141 hydraulic brakes use 180 mm rotors front and rear. The rotors are mounted with 6 bolts.
Wheels and tires: Giant AM30 alloy rim rims are tubeless-ready. Maxxis Dissector 2.4 EXO TR tires are the same front and rear.
Cockpit: Giant Contact TR35 handlebars have a 35 mm clamp diameter and a width of 760 or 800 mm depending on frame size. The Giant Contact Switch AT dropper post has 110 to 200 mm of travel depending on size.
The combination of a 140 mm Giant STL 34 dual air fork and 130 mm of rear travel is aimed at trail use with an emphasis on control. The single-pivot FlexPoint system keeps the rear end active and predictable throughout the travel. The slack 65° head angle increases composure on descents and in rough terrain. The Crest FloTrac Elite TR shock with a two-position lockout makes it easier to reduce bobbing on climbs.
The Stance is for advanced riders who want a trail full-suspension bike without complicated maintenance and with a clearly defined range of use. It will also appeal to sporty riders moving up from a hardtail who want a dropper post and tubeless readiness. Within the all-mountain category, it’s aimed at riding on trails, forest roads, and technical descents.
