The Liv Embolden 29 2 is a women's full-suspension bike built for trails.
The Embolden series boasts an aluminum frame ALUXX with improved geometry, internal cable routing, and a new thru-axle for the rear wheel. The bike is available with different wheel sizes. An XS frame comes with 27.5" wheels, while sizes S and M allow wheel size customization, and the L frame is equipped with 29" wheels.
Quality suspension is ensured by the Flexpoint technology, with a Giant STL 34 fork offering 140 mm of travel and a Suntour Raidon R shock (120 mm).
The dropper seatpost controlled from the handlebars makes descents or playful singletracks more fun and safer. Better bike handling is also ensured by wider handlebars and a shorter stem. Wider tires provide more confidence, and the wheels are ready for a tubeless setup, which offers improved riding characteristics and reduces the risk of flats.
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
A proven “single-pivot” design that uses the flexing action of the chainstay/seatstay junction to produce a lightweight and durable suspension system with 4.7 inches/120mm of rear travel. The FlexPoint reacts sensitively to large and small bumps through the air shock.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
