Nukeproof Dissent Carbon Pro 297 GX DH7 downhill bike Red is a full-suspension MTB built for downhill, with 200 mm of travel front and rear. It targets experienced riders and racing use, where stability at high speed and extensive adjustability make the difference. The spec is based around a SRAM downhill drivetrain and RockShox suspension for both bikepark and race-style tracks.
At its core is a carbon composite frame with monocoque construction and a blend of T700 and T800 fibers, designed for durability in DH use. The Fallout Linkage platform features adjustable suspension linkage with three positions to tune suspension progression. You can fine-tune the geometry with a headset offering ±6 mm reach adjustment, plus rear-end chips for three chainstay lengths. The wheel setup can be converted between full 29" and mullet, with the bike shipping from the factory as a 29"/27.5" mullet.
Drivetrain: SRAM GX DH shifter and derailleur run a 1x7 setup with downhill-specific gearing. A PG720 11–25T cassette and Descendant DH 165 mm cranks are paired with an 83 mm threaded bottom bracket in the DUB system.
Brakes: SRAM Maven Bronze hydraulic disc brakes use sintered pads for consistent performance during long braking. SRAM Centerline 2.0 rotors measure 200 mm front and rear.
Wheels and tires: Nukeproof Horizon V2 wheelset comes in 29" front and 27.5" rear, with a Boost 157x12 mm rear hub. Schwalbe Magic Mary Evo 29x2.5" and Schwalbe Albert Evo 27.5x2.5" tires are tubeless and use compounds intended for gravity riding.
Cockpit: Nukeproof Horizon V2 handlebars have a 31.8 mm clamp diameter and 25 mm rise, with a width of 780 or 800 mm depending on size. A 45 mm Horizon Direct Mount stem is complemented by a Neutron 31.6 mm seatpost and a Vector DH Comp saddle.
The combination of long travel and adjustable linkage lets you tune mid-stroke support as well as end-stroke behavior. The mullet setup improves front-wheel precision in rough terrain and makes it easier to snap through tight corners. Adjustable chainstay length lets you shift between agility and stability to suit the track. RockShox Boxxer and Vivid Air suspension delivers sensitivity over small bumps and control on big hits.
This model is designed for riders who ride downhill tracks, bikepark lines, and races, and want to tune both geometry and kinematics to match their style. Compared to simpler DH frames, it adds a wider adjustment range and service-friendly features for regular use. It’s also a good fit for riders who switch between tracks with different speeds and profiles.
