Nukeproof Reactor Alloy Pro 290 Eagle 90 bike Yellow is a full-suspension mountain bike in the trail to all-mountain category, built for riders who prioritize performance in technical terrain. It’s based on a 29" platform with progressive geometry and travel suited to long climbs as well as fast descents. The spec targets the mid-to-upper range, with an emphasis on durability and service-friendly practicality.
The Nukeproof Reactor V2 290 Alloy frame uses 6061 T6 alloy and triple-butted tubes shaped by hydroforming. The rear seatstays are made from UD woven carbon, which reduces unsprung mass and helps tune lateral stiffness. The Horst Link four-bar suspension delivers 140 mm of rear travel and uses MAX bearings for long-term smooth performance. The geometry is long, low, and slack, with a 64.5–65° head angle and a 77–78° seat angle depending on the setting. The Trail/Rail flip chip changes bottom bracket height and head tube angle, letting you fine-tune both stability and cornering support.
Drivetrain: SRAM Eagle 90 shifter and rear derailleur run in a 1x12 configuration. SRAM Eagle 90 DUB cranks are 165 mm long with a 32T T-Type chainring, and the SRAM XS-1270 T-Type cassette offers a 10–52 range.
Brakes: SRAM Maven Base hydraulic disc brakes use organic pads. SRAM Centerline 2.0 rotors are 180 mm front and 180 mm rear.
Wheels and tires: DT Swiss M1900 Spline wheelset comes in 29" and uses the Boost standard 15x110 mm and 148x12 mm. Schwalbe Magic Mary Evo 29x2.4" up front and Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo 29x2.4" in the rear are TLE tubeless-ready tires.
Cockpit: Nukeproof Horizon V2 handlebars have a 25 mm rise and are 780 mm wide on S/M or 800 mm on L through XXL. The Nukeproof Neutron AM stem is 45 mm, and the Tranz-X YS108 dropper post offers 150 to 230 mm of travel depending on size.
The combination of a 150 mm RockShox Lyrik Select+ fork and 140 mm of rear travel is aimed at confidence on descents and extra margin in rough terrain. The steep seat angle centers the rider’s position, improving pressure on the front wheel on climbs. The slack head angle and longer wheelbase bring stability at high speed and on steep sections. The carbon seatstays help the bike hold its line under power while also damping small vibrations.
This bike is designed for experienced trail riders who ride technical trails, longer mountain days, and the occasional bikepark laps. Thanks to the Trail/Rail adjustment, it’s well suited to tuning the balance between pedaling efficiency and descending stability. In its class, it targets riders who want a durable aluminum frame with modern geometry and powerful brakes.
