Rock Machine STORM e90 Sport Drive Touring Easy Entry electric mountain bike SAMPLE is a trekking-oriented mountain e-bike on 29ers with a low step-through frame and a full set of equipment for everyday use. It’s built around the Sport Drive motor and an integrated battery, so it targets riders who combine commuting, paved roads, and light off-road terrain. In the 2022 model year, it sits in the mid-range in terms of drivetrain performance and touring equipment.
The frame is made from an aluminum alloy and uses the Rock Machine MONO Tube design with a single main tube for a low step-through layout. The geometry is based on an MTB, but the riding position is more comfortable and more upright for longer rides. The integrated 504 Wh battery is housed in the frame and accessible from the top. Drivetrain: microSHIFT ACOLYTE shifting works with a single chainring and a multi-speed cassette. The Sport Drive mid-motor runs at 36 V, 250 W nominal, 500 W maximum, and 90 Nm.
Brakes: Alhonga AHJ-OD07 hydraulic disc brakes are aimed at confident modulation with the higher weight of an e-bike. The rotors are sized for touring and light off-road use.
Wheels and tires: The bike is built around 29", which improves stability and the ability to roll over bumps. WTB Nineline Comp 29×2,25" tires combine reasonable rolling resistance with traction on gravel.

The Sport Drive motor feels smooth, and its quiet operation suits steady climbing as well as starts with a load.
It’s intended for riders who want a unisex low step-through e-bike for commuting, trips, and occasional forest roads. Thanks to fenders, racks, and integrated lighting, it’s aimed more at practical use than sporty trail riding. Compared to pure electric mountain bikes, it offers more everyday equipment and a more comfortable riding position.
