Giant Revolt Advanced 1 is a new generation gravel bike offering greater comfort and efficiency for racing and all-day adventures.
The carbon frame Advanced Composite is 160 grams lighter than the previous generation, and its modified geometry, which features a lower center, extended reach, and steeper head tube angle, provides improved riding characteristics and handling of the bike.
Seat stays have a smaller diameter, are lower positioned, and in combination with the dropper seatpost, offer uncompromised shock and vibration absorption while maintaining maximum riding comfort and stiffness for riding out of the saddle, on climbs, or in turns.
Thanks to the innovative rear dropout system Flip-Chip, it's possible to adjust the wheelbase, where a shorter wheelbase contributes to easier handling and greater agility of the bike, for example in turns, while a longer wheelbase increases stability at higher speeds and allows for a 53 mm tire on the rear wheel thanks to the increased space between the wheel and the frame.
A special adapter allows for the choice of a seatpost, where with the adapter it is possible to mount a Giant D-Fuse seatpost and without the adapter a standard round 30.9 mm seatpost or another dropper seatpost.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
The flip chip system is a two-position eccentric insert in the rear frame feet that allows you to easily change the wheelbase. A shorter wheelbase gives you a more agile nike, while setting it to a longer wheelbase improves stability at higher speeds while increasing the space for the rear tire (up to 53 mm wide).
