In cyclocross racing, even the slightest advantage over competitors is crucial. Riders need a bike that can handle quick starts, sharp turns, artificial obstacles, and rides through sand, mud, or slushy snow with perfection. If you choose the women's carbon CX special Brava Advanced Pro, you can rely on it to perform everything with absolute perfection.
The Brava Advanced Pro model utilizes an innovative Advanced Composite carbon frame with a special cyclocross geometry. This geometry is designed to ease carrying the bike on your shoulder and ensure comfort. The "V"-shaped down tube efficiently manages mud clearance. The same material as the frame is used for the full carbon fork with an additional OverDrive 2 steerer.
The D-Fuse carbon seatpost provides better vibration damping than a traditional round seatpost, significantly increasing comfort during rides. Moreover, the frame is compatible with a 30.9 mm round seatpost, allowing for the installation of a dropper post. This equipment is particularly advantageous in descents where a lower seat height makes the ride more comfortable and safer.
Today's cyclocross bikes are typically equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, offering powerful braking and smooth modulation. They make bike handling much easier, regardless of riding conditions. The brakes are mounted using flat mount brackets and secured with a 12 mm thru-axle, ensuring the required stiffness and safety.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
