In cyclocross races, even the slightest advantage over competitors is crucial. Riders need a bike that can handle fast starts, sharp turns, artificial obstacles, and passages through sand, mud, or slushy snow. If you choose the women’s carbon CX special Brava Advanced Pro, you can rely on this bike to handle everything with absolute perfection.
The Brava Advanced Pro model utilizes an innovative Advanced Composite carbon frame with special cyclocross geometry. This geometry is designed to make carrying the bike on the shoulder easier and to ensure comfort. The V-shaped down tube is responsible for effective mud clearance. The same material as the frame is used for the full carbon fork with an additional OverDrive 2 steerer.
The D-Fuse carbon seatpost ensures better vibration damping than a classic round seatpost, which significantly increases comfort during the ride. Furthermore, the frame is also compatible with a round seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm, allowing for the installation of a dropper seatpost. This equipment is especially advantageous during descents, where riding with a lower saddle is more comfortable and safer.
Today's cyclocross bikes are typically equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, which offer strong braking power and smooth modulation. This makes controlling the bike much easier, regardless of riding conditions. The brakes are mounted using flat mounts and secured with a 12 mm thru-axle, ensuring the required stiffness and safety.
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
