Lightweight and elegant
The durable yet lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame with Advanced carbon fork offers a comfortable ride and a forgiving nature that's useful once you hit the wilder trail. The redesigned geometry keeps you in a more performance-oriented position and provides greater control, whether you're intentionally speeding up or just heading downhill to the pond.
Superior comfort and handling
The Contact XR D-Fuse handlebars feature a five-degree bend backward and gravel-specific flare for a comfortable and ergonomic grip. You can swap the Contact SLR D-Fuse seatpost for a round one with a diameter of 30.9 or 27.2 mm. Specific D-Fuse components absorb shocks and dampen vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and providing more fun during epic rides.
Unmatched versatility
Adjust the frame geometry according to the route plan using the flip chip on the rear dropouts, which allow you to modify the wheelbase and also the rear tire clearance. A shorter wheelbase offers more responsive handling and greater "agility" of the bike. A longer wheelbase improves stability at higher speeds and traction, and also increases the rear tire clearance (up to a width of 53 mm).
High-performance raw carbon material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio is used to produce the custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and molded as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
