Lightweight and sleek
The durable yet lightweight ALUXX aluminum frame with an Advanced carbon fork delivers a comfortable ride and forgiving compliance that comes into its own once you hit rougher trails. The redesigned geometry keeps you in a more performance-oriented position and gives you greater control, whether you’re accelerating hard or simply rolling downhill toward the pond.
Outstanding comfort and control
Contact XR D-Fuse handlebars feature a five-degree backsweep and flared drops for a comfortable, ergonomic grip. The Contact SLR D-Fuse seatpost can be swapped for a round 30.9 or 27.2 mm post. D-Fuse-specific components absorb impacts and damp vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and adding more fun to epic rides.
Unmatched versatility
Adapt the frame geometry to your route plan with the rear dropout flip chip, which lets you adjust the wheelbase as well as rear tire clearance. A shorter wheelbase delivers more responsive handling and greater agility. A longer wheelbase improves stability at higher speeds and traction, and also increases rear tire clearance (up to 53 mm wide).
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
