Durable, yet lightweight, the ALUXX series aluminum frame with an Advanced carbon fork offers a comfortable ride and willingness to forgive, which comes in handy once you hit wilder trails. The redesigned geometry keeps you in a more performance-oriented position and provides greater handling control, whether you are accelerating purposefully or just descending a hill towards the pond.
Outstanding comfort and control
The Contact XR D-Fuse handlebars feature a five-degree backward bend and gravel flare for a comfortable and ergonomic grip. The Contact SLR D-Fuse seatpost can be swapped for a round one with a diameter of 30.9 or 27.2 mm. Specific D-Fuse components absorb shocks and dampen vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and bringing more fun to epic rides.
Unmatched versatility
Adjust the frame geometry according to the route plan with the help of rear dropout flip chips, allowing you to modify the wheelbase and the rear tire clearance. A shorter wheelbase brings more responsive handling and greater bike "agility." A longer wheelbase enhances high-speed stability and traction, and also increases the rear tire clearance (up to a width of 53 mm).
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to absorb road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster. It works by slightly springing the seat post under load, thanks to its specific "D" shape.
